For the weekend, I'd like you to think hard about a topic that you're interested in researching and find resources to bring to class on Tuesday for it to read. Remember it has to be on a topic that will lead you to deep questions and learning. If you can simply find the answer on a quick google search (like, "how big is the Earth?") it's probably not meeting the criteria we discussed. You will be reading the articles or books you find come next week so be prepared!
Also, in anticipation of an upcoming unit, I'd like to ask you to bring in as many newspapers as you possibly can in the coming weeks. We'll be needing them by mid-October. Many thanks!
Enjoy your weekend!
